Through no-cost, debt-free pathways, our team supports participants with CHW training enrollment, workforce readiness, and employment placement—walking alongside them every step of the way from training to work.

VSSN offers no-cost Medical Assistant training and job placement support for individuals and families impacted by justice involvement who are seeking entry into the healthcare workforce. Participants receive support —creating a clear, debt-free pathway into medical assisting roles within clinics, hospitals, private practices and community health settings.

YOUR JOURNEY

Reentry & Connection
Justice-involved or justice-impacted veterans and veteran-linked individuals (ages 17–26) are connected through Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO), Veterans Court, or community partners.

Stabilization & Support
Participants receive one-on-one behavioral healthcare and care navigational services through VSSN and a care navigator who links them to non-clinical supports—such as housing, wellness, and financial literacy—building stability and readiness.

Education & Skill Development
Through smaller, personalized classrooms, participants complete certificate-based training in Community Health Work or Healthcare Support, preparing for meaningful, purpose-driven careers.

Internship & Career Placement
Most participants gain paid, hands-on experience and secure sustainable, living-wage employment in healthcare through partnerships with community employers.
